Grammy week is approaching and one of the biggest events of the year is their Best New Artist party that always brings the biggest performers and the brightest talent with this year’s lineup on February 1, including performers like Jelly Roll, Victoria Monét and more. And speaking of the party, I have some very talented friends I haven’t hung out with in a while here to talk with us. Hey, War and Treaty what’s going on?

I am so excited to hear you guys are performing at this event. But I mean, I’ve been watching you guys grow, grow, grow and now Best New Artist at the Grammys? How are you feeling?

This is insane. I mean, the whole journey has been one big, insane experience.

I mean, where were you when you got the news?

In the airport, we were literally sitting out in breakfast waiting on our flight. And I started immediately just crying. And Tanya was like who died who died
Tanya Blount
I asked who died, cause someone’s always dying. He always knows who’s dead before I do.
